Job Opportunity at CAC

The Coaching Association of Canada is seeking a Financial Assistant – Finance Department.
This is a term position (maternity leave replacement) for the period July 3, 2007 to July 25, 2008 (5 days a week).
Financial Assistant
Reporting to the Manager, Finance, the incumbent will have primary responsibility for:
• Accounts Payable; • General duties.
Primary Responsibilities include:
• Accounts payables, including: - Code invoices for payments; - Verify NCCP claims; - Enter expense data for NCCP; - Reconcile NCCP accounts; - Retrieve back-up documentation for invoices to be paid; - Contact sport organizations to clarify the request for payment; - Forward invoices to Manager, Finance, for approval; - Enter the coded invoices into the accounting software; - Respond to payables inquiries (internal and external sources); - Process payables cheques from system.
• General duties, including: - Assist with archiving of previous year's files; - Provide back-up in accounts receivable when necessary.
• Other duties, as required.
Qualifications:
• 1st or 2nd level CGA; • Knowledge in Accpac would be an asset; • Previous accounts payables experiences; • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
