Job Opportunity at CAC

The Coaching Association of Canada is seeking a Program Coordinator – Marketing and Communications Department.
This is a term position (maternity leave replacement) for the period June 18, 2007 to April 11, 2008 (5 days a week) with a possibility of extension.
Program Coordinator
Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Communications, the incumbent will have primary responsibility for:
• Coordinating the GM Making Dreams Possible Program;
• Providing administrative support for:
- CAC corporate partner relations; - Sport Nutrition Advisory Committee (SNAC); - CAC Annual Awards Program; - Web communications (eNews, web stats, etc.)
Primary Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating all aspects of the GM Making Dreams Possible Program, including:
- Call for applications; - Support Selection Committee requirements for recipients approvals; - Communications with applicants; - Coordinate signature of contract process; - Coordinate request for payment; - Coordinate recipient report; - Support the preparation of report to funder;
• Providing administrative support, including:
- Respond to general enquiries from clients, partner agencies, and the general public; - Coordinate communications with SNAC committee and prepare general correspondence and SNAC committee meeting minutes; - Coordinate call for applications and Selection Committee process as well as recipient communications; - Create materials for partner communications through website as well as monitor web traffic.
• Other duties, as required. Qualifications:
• University or College degree in sport or business administration, or project management • Three to five years job-related experience • Knowledge of the Canadian sport system • Excellent communication skills • Thorough knowledge of office computer applications • Proven team-worker • Ability to multi-task and work independently • Basic financial management is an asset • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
