Community Coach Initiation: Give yourself the confidence and tools necessary to coach lacrosse at the community sport level with skills like how to plan a practice, how best to support your athletes during training, and how to make ethical decisions.

Community Coach Development: Learn how best to meet the needs of your community sport athletes by planning age-appropriate practices, making ethical decisions, and by offering the right kind of support as they train and compete.

Competition Introduction: Learn how to teach your athletes the key principles behind a team’s offence and defence and introduce them to the concept of special team play. This workshop will give you the knowledge and techniques to motivate players to increase their levels of concentration, intensity, and commitment; and help them prepare mentally and technically for a higher level of play.

Competition Development: As an intermediate, junior or senior lacrosse coach, you will spend three workshops learning how best to increase your athletes’ level of concentration, intensity of activity, and physical preparation. You will also receive specialized training in the following multi-sport modules: Leading Drug-free Sport, Prevention and Recovery, and Developing Athletic Abilities.
