Delegates are responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodations and arranging for shared accommodations if desired. A special conference rate has been secured at the official event hotel – the Hyatt Regency Calgary – as well as The Fairmont Palliser. Both hotels are located within walking distance to one another – 3 minutes outdoors and 7 minutes through the indoor Pedway.

Travel

Airport Shuttle

Delegates are responsible for making their own arrangements for transportation to and from the airport to their hotel. The following are some options:

Sundog Transportation and Tours LTD. – 403-291-9617

Airport Arrivals: You can either simply proceed to the Sundog Airport Shuttle counter, located directly in front of International Arrivals Area C, to purchase your one-way or return transfers upon your arrival or you can easily pre-book your transfers through the Hyatt and Palliser Concierge.

Hotel Pick-ups: Scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs are available from Calgary downtown hotels on an hourly basis. Clients should arrive at the airport a minimum of 2 hours prior to international flight departures and 1 hour prior to domestic flight departures.

Departure times from the Calgary International Airport are as follows (times are subject to change without notice):

* 5:30 and 7:30 am departures Monday through Friday only

Airport Shuttle and Jet – 403-259-5959
Hotel Pick-Ups: This service is on a reservation basis. Pre-booking is required with at least 2 hours notice and is subject to availability. Booking times are scheduled according to passenger’s flight information. All booking times are plus or minus 10 minutes. The business hours for Airport Shuttle and Jet are from 4:00 to 19:00 daily.

Effective June 1, 2007 the rates are (Prices include 5% GST and are subject to change):

$15 for one passenger
$25 for two passengers
$30 for three passengers
$35 for four passengers
$10 for any additional passengers over four

Taxi Services
Taxis are abundant outside of the Calgary International Airport and are available 24 hours a day. Reputable taxi companies include Checker Cabs and Associated Cabs. Travel time to the Hyatt and/or Palliser is approximately 30 minutes. The cost for transport will be between $30.00 – $38.00 CDN. Taxis accept both credit card and cash (Canadian funds) as payment. There is currency exchange available at the airport if needed.

Ambassador Limousine
The Ambassador/Checker airport booth is located directly outside International Arrivals at the Calgary International Airport across from Gate C.
