Career Accomplishments

  • Past coaching experience as NCAA Division I Head Coach of Women’s Ice Hockey at the University of Minnesota Duluth (1998-2015), 5-time NCCA Champion, head coach with the most NCAA championships record 
  • Canadian National Women’s Hockey Team Head Coach (1995-1998); Asst. Coach (1991-1995), and Team Alberta (Asst. Coach, 1989-1991).  
  • Coached at the Olympic Games (1998 – Silver), Canada Winter Games (1991 – Gold), World Championships (1992, 1994, 1997), 3x World Champion 
  • Other accomplishments include: first female head coach of an Olympic hockey team in the world; Mentor Coach with the Swedish Ice Hockey Association and the Russian Ice Hockey Federation; United Nations Speaker on Title IX and Gender Equity, Chair of the Ethics Committee for American Women College Hockey Coaches and member of the NCAA Division I Hockey Championships Committee.
