The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) provides standardized, inclusive, and sport safety education to coaches and coach developers across 65 sports. Since 1974, more than 2 million coaches have engaged in NCCP training to develop their own coaching skills and to improve the performance of their participants at all levels of sport.
Elevate your understanding of the sport system in Canada, including expectations of coaches and sport organizations.
This eLearning module provides information and guidance to help coaches support and advocate for racialized participants in sport.
This module is a cornerstone of the NCCP and leaves coaches with no doubt as to what to do in challenging situations.
About the Canadian Safe Sport Program
As of April 1, 2025, the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) will independently administer the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS) for federally funded national sport organizations through the CSSP. The CCES receives and responds to reports about individuals who may have engaged in prohibited behaviour under the UCCMS.
