Bill Greenlaw

Bill has served as Executive Director, Communities, Sport and Recreation with the Government of Nova Scotia for over ten years. He advises the Minister’s office on all matters relating to community development and infrastructure, not-for-profit and volunteerism, sport, recreation, physical activities, and more. Notably, Bill represented Canada at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Paralympics as Head Swimming Coach.

Saheed is an Associate Manager of Coach & Athlete Development with Athletics Ontario. A former coach himself, he now guides coaches in completing their coaching certification pathways and coordinates the hosting of NCCP coaching education courses.

Linda is the Dean of the Faculty of Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor, where she oversees both the Department of Kinesiology and the Division of Athletics and Recreation Services. In her local community Linda has a long history of coaching and managing youth sport teams.

Jason has been the Head Coach of the Track and Field and the Cross-Country teams at the University of Saskatchewan for over nine years. He is a ten-time conference coach of the year award recipient (Atlantic University Sport & Canada West) and a nine-time national team coach. Jason attended the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics as a personal coach for one of Team Canada’s athletes and has presented internationally for World Athletics.

Andrew is the Director of the Sport and Recreation Division for the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Andrew currently serves on several boards including: SPARC (Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation Council), which is a federal-provincial-territorial collaboration advancing sport matters in Canada, Open Courts Foundation, Sport Tourism Event Partnership, and the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre, among others. Andrew is a certified high-performance coach and is a former Senior Director for Tennis Canada and Executive Director of Tennis Newfoundland and Labrador.

Fabienne is the Head Coach and Co-Founder of Capital Courts Academy (CCA), an elite basketball prep school based in Ottawa, Ontario. She has been a driving force behind developing the next generation of women’s basketball talent in Canada. Her leadership and dedication are evident in every role she takes, including being a member of the coaching staff for Canada Basketball’s Cadette National Team for the past eight years. 

Danielle Emmons

Danielle is the Associate Director of Athlete & Coach Development with Special Olympics Canada, where she leads the development of the NCCP program, supports the growth of officials’ development pathways across Special Olympics sports, and oversees the national volunteer strategy. Prior to this, she was the Manager for Coach Education & Special Projects with Canada Basketball, where she managed all aspects of coach education across 13 provincial and territorial sport organizations. Her role also involved developing Canada Basketball’s Gender Equity Playbook and Safe Sport strategy. 

Jill Wurflinger

Jill Wurflinger is a nationally recognized leader in sport, volunteer engagement, and community development, with more than 20 years of experience building high-impact programs and mobilizing thousands of volunteers across Canada. A Chartered Professional Coach and respected coach developer with Rowing Canada Aviron, she has led transformational initiatives with organizations including the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, World Rowing, the Rick Hansen Foundation, and the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Jill is known for bringing people together across sectors and communities to create inclusive, purpose-driven leadership and lasting social impact.

Matt is an internationally recognized Senior Sport Leader who has years of experience in education and high-performance sport. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Curling Ontario and holds a Masters degree in Executive Leadership at Royal Roads University. His passion for sport has led him to pursue his own coaching career within the sport of Softball. He has been an Assistant Coach with the USA Men’s National Softball team for over seven years, was Head Coach at Laurier University for 14 years, and coaches the #1 ranked semi-professional men’s softball team, the Bear Creek Gremlins.

In his role as Relationship Manager with viaSport British Columbia, Kevin is responsible for leading Sport Development Initiatives in areas of Sport Governance, High Performance, NCCP and Safe Recruitment. At the 2020 Tokyo Summer Paralympic Games, in his role as Technical Delegate, Kevin led event delivery and supervised technical officials, staff and volunteers for the Wheelchair Rugby tournament.

Mark is a multisport master coach developer/evaluator with the Coaching Association of Canada’s national coaching certification program and a coach evaluator with Canada Soccer. Mark brings over three decades of leadership in Canadian sport, having served in coaching, technical, and executive roles across both Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador. As the Sport Development Director at Sport NL, he is widely respected for his dedication to inclusive sport, strong governance, and supporting coaches at all levels.
