Eating Disorders are significant mental illnesses that are treatable and can affect individuals irrespective of gender, age, racial and ethnic identity, sexual orientation, or socio-economic background. As a coach, being aware of the symptoms of eating disorders and understanding their potential negative impact on an athlete's overall health is crucial.
