In recognition of 2023 Mental Health Awareness Week and World Mental Health Day, Sport Manitoba launched their Mental Health Micro-Sessions to support the mental health and well-being of coaches. The project consists of six pre-recorded presentations are approximately 5-7 minutes in length and focus on the following topics:
- Creating a Safe Space for Mental Health in Sport
- Support for Coaches Who Train Athletes with Mental Illness
- Self-Help for Coaches
- The Effect of a Coach’s Mental Health on Athletes
- How to Maintain Mental Health in High Performance Situations
- Stress and Anxiety Management
