The Coaching Association of Canada extends our condolences to the family and friends of Gord May, founding Executive Director of Coaches BC, who passed away this past Monday. Gord joined the Provincial/Territorial Coaching Coordinators group in the spring of 1995 when Coaches BC took over responsibility for delivering the Theory component of the NCCP in BC. He sat at the National Coaching Certification Council table from spring 2004 to fall 2005 and was also a CAC board member from 2008 to 2010.
Gord was a true champion for coaches and coach education and will be dearly missed by the entire Canadian sport community.
