Ottawa, ON, (August 9, 2024) – The Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors.
Bill Greenlaw
Bill Greenlaw begins a 3-year term as Chair of the Board. As the Executive Director, Communities, Sport and Recreation with the Government of Nova Scotia, Bill advises the Minister’s office on all matters relating to community development and infrastructure, not-for-profit and volunteerism, sport, recreation, physical activities, celebrating communities of culture policy, emerging issues with provincial and the federal governments, and more. Bill previously served on the CAC Board of Directors as a Provincial/Territorial Government Representative from 2016 to 2023.
“My objective as Chair of the Board of Directors is to champion innovation, harness the collective passion of those involved, and most importantly to ensure that all voices are heard,” states Bill. “At the end of my term as Chair, my aim is that the Board, staff, and all invested parties feel they were included, respected, listened to – this will be my personal measure of success.”

Kevin Bowie
Kevin Bowie joins the board as a Provincial/Territorial Coaching Representative (PTCR) and Sport Leadership Council Representative. In his role as Manager of Sport Development with viaSport, Kevin manages projects on a range of topics, including high performance, sector capacity development, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and safe sport. Prior to joining viaSport, Kevin spent 16 years with BC Wheelchair Sports, where he guided key development and high-performance initiatives and delivered several national and international parasport events, including as Technical Delegate for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics in the sport of wheelchair rugby
