The Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) in partnership with our provincial and territorial coaching representatives (PTCRs) would like to thank Mr. Barry Bartlett for his years of service to the NCCP Competition – Development Master Learning Facilitator (MLF) national team, and welcome two new members to the team – Ms. Patsy Pyke and Dr. Andy Van Neutegem.
Barry Bartlett of Oakville, Ontario, is a retired educator and has been a long-time contributor to the Canadian sport community. Involved with NCCP training for over 30 years, Professor Bartlett brought to this team a passion for coach education and a broad experience of what NCCP training and certification entitled. He is also a key facilitator for CAC’s International projects in Qatar and Jordan.
Dr. Andy Van Neutegem of Victoria, B.C., brings a significant level of experience in sport administration at a senior level from both Canada and the UK to the team as well as a strong background as an educator. He is currently the High Performance Director for wheelchair rugby, an instructor at the National Coaching Institute – Victoria, and the Chair for Sport Education at the Centre for Sport & Exercise Education at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence at Camosun College.
Patsy Pyke of Manotick, Ont., is currently a teacher in the Recreation and Leisure Services program at Algonquin College and is a retired coach, having been the head coach for women’s soccer and basketball at Mount Saint Vincent University for 10 years. Currently an MLF for the Competition – Introduction multi-sport modules, Patsy brings a strong commitment to the NCCP and over 20 years of coaching experience to the team.
