Over the years, the CAC has partnered with various stakeholders to conduct or find participants for internal and external research projects, to offer peer-reviewed communications opportunities and letters of support for researchers to funding agencies.
Possible Research Support Options
- The CAC as a partner in a research project (may require a formal agreement)
- Conduct research on the CAC or on CAC’s programs and policies (may require a formal agreement)
- Connection to a specific partner or portfolio lead (requires contact approval)
- Access a pool of external jury members (Masters, Ph.D, calls for research proposals)
- Research participants for your projects through the CAC’s communication channels (requires strong alignment with Sport Coaching Research)
How does it work?
CAC reviews requests on a weekly basis and responds within 10 business days.
What projects are supported?
The CAC can support research projects related to Sport Coaching, Sport Sciences, Health and Physical Activity.
Priority is offered to:
- Sport Coaching Research
- Projects with very strong relationships with the CAC or National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) partnership priorities
- Projects led by members of the Sport Coaching Research Network in Canada (SCRNC)
