Congratulations Mimi Lam and the Marpole Soccer Club of Vancouver, BC! They were selected through a random draw of over 3,500 entries to win $1,500 for their club, courtesy of Investors Group.
“We are absolutely thrilled!” said Lam, who is director of the club as well as manager of the U13 Boys Cheetahs. “On behalf of the Marpole Soccer Club, we would like to thank Investors Group for their generosity. We have been offering community-based, volunteer-run youth soccer programs to the South Vancouver area for over 50 years. We strive to keep the sport affordable to everyone but were facing increasing costs. The sponsorship from Investors Groups will definitely benefit our boys and girls as the money will be going towards much needed new equipment for the teams.”
