Coaches in the Competition stream usually have previous coaching experience or are former athletes in the sport. They tend to work with athletes over the long term to improve performance, often in preparation for provincial, national, and international competitions.

This context is designed for coaches of athletes ranging from the Train to Train to the Train to Compete stages of long-term athlete development.

This 36-hour workshop offers a thorough to the competitive sports environment. Coaches will work on planning, athlete support, improvement of their own red and black CFF armband skills, performance analysis, and competition rules participation for their athletes.

Note: It is highly recommended that coaches complete the CFF competition introduction workshop prior to registering to the CFF Competition-development workshop.
