2019 Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif

OTTAWA, November 4, 2019 – The Coaching Association of Canada™ (CAC) is proud to host the
2019 Petro-Canada™ Sport Leadership sportif conference in Richmond, BC, from November 7-9, 2019.

WHAT

Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif is Canada’s largest conference for coaches, researchers, sport executives, and administrators. The event gathers more than 500 delegates each year for three days of learning, professional development, and networking with innovators and leaders from within the sport, business, and education communities in Canada.

This year’s conference theme, Mission: Resilience, focuses on how the sport sector in Canada can better serve its athletes by building its own resilience. This mission is increasingly important for sport leaders as they encounter new challenges such as concussion awareness, the need for increased diversity and inclusion, and the responsibility to protect athletes from abuse, harassment, and discrimination.

Attendees will exchange hard-won lessons in achieving growth through adversity and make valuable professional connections that will take them and their respective organizations forward with confidence. In doing so, they will collectively reaffirm their commitment to their athletes, to their coaches, and to their organizations.

More than 80 of Canada’s leading coaches and sport administrators will also be honoured Friday, November 8 at the
Petro-Canada Sport Leadership Awards Gala
