January 21, 2009

OTTAWA, ON – The Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) is pleased to announce that the bid city selected to host the 2010 Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif is Ottawa. The conference will be held November 18-21, 2010, at The Westin Ottawa.

"Ottawa is extremely pleased to have been chosen as the site of the Coaching Association of Canada's 2010 Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif Conference," said Noel Buckley, President and CEO of Ottawa Tourism. "As an active city that thrives on its participation in and support of sports, Ottawa is a natural choice when it comes to conferences of this type."

“The 2010 edition of Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif will be a pivotal one. On the heels of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Vancouver, the conference will bring the sport community together to share experiences and reflect on our collective future. The CAC will also be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2010 and we are delighted that the conference is back in the Nation's Capital for that occasion,” added John Bales, Chief Executive Officer of the Coaching Association of Canada.
