This 3-day course will prepare coaches to teach Skate Canada’s test program called STARSkate. This course covers all figure skating components and introduces pair skating and synchronized skating disciplines. Designed to prepare coaches for a successful coaching profession, the modules focus on the needs of coaches in relation to teaching progression and skill assessment/analysis of STARSkate skills. The workshop also includes an on-ice coaching practice session.
