The National Sport Organization Safe Sport Working Group announced seven core components and related consensus statements to support the development of a universal code of conduct in Canada.
More than 500 attendees have converged on Ottawa for the opening of the 2018 Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif conference (#SLS18), Canada’s conference for coaches, researchers, sport executives, and administrators. Organized by the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC), it runs from November 8-10 at the Westin Ottawa.
Canada’s most deserving and influential coaches and sport leaders will be honoured this evening at the 2018 Petro-Canada Sport Leadership Awards Gala. The class of 2018 award recipients include Skate Canada’s Manon Perron, Freestyle Alberta’s Rob Kober, NCCP Coach Developer and Mentor Greg Henhawk, and Tennis Canada.
